On Wednesday, January 15th, the Bellevue Big Picture School PTSA, along with the advisories of Bailey Edgley and Anna Morin, will host the monthly Staff Appreciation Lunch where staff can grab goodies before heading to their monthly meeting around lunchtime. This often serves as their lunch, so we'd like to provide a variety of items.

Celebrate our school community at the Bellevue Big Picture School Panther Market! This annual event is a wonderful way for students, families, and friends to connect and sell their creations.

Monthly Parent Support Group “Thriving on Two Spectrums”
Every 4th Sunday of the month, parents of transgender and gender-diverse kids (of all ages) who are also neuro-diverse*, gather to learn, talk, laugh, and share insights on caring for and raising their kids. The parent discussion is facilitated by trained moderators from both the ARC of King County and Trans Families.
The next virtual event is scheduled on Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 2 to 3:30 PM. Learn more on the Trans Families website.

Bellevue PTSA Council Youth Cooking Club
The Bellevue PTSA Council Youth Cooking Club will host a weekly cooking activity starting October 27th. The mission of the cooking club is to inspire students' interest in different cuisines, and improve their cooking skills.

BSF Education Connections: Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention
An evening organized by the Bellevue Schools Foundation.
Join Bellevue School District families, the BSD Mental Health and Counseling Services Team, and the King County Sexual Assault Resource Center (KSARC) for an informative presentation on sexual assault prevention, awareness, and available resources.
What to Expect:
Learn about age-appropriate information K-12 students are receiving in Bellevue School District classrooms.
Hear from KSARC, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting victims and promoting awareness of sexual violence.
Participate in a Q&A session with our knowledgeable speakers and receive valuable handouts and resources for further learning.

The Homecoming Dance (for high schoolers) and Autumn Harvest Dance (for middle schoolers) is your chance to show off your best moves, hang with friends, play games, and have an unforgettable evening!

Senior Sunset (for Seniors only)
Event Details
Who: Big Picture Seniors!
Date: Sunday, 9/29/24
Time: 5 to 7:30PM (Sunset at 6:50PM)
Location: Chism Beach Park (9600 SE 11th St, Bellevue, WA 98004)
What to Expect:
Sunset Viewing: Gather with classmates to watch the sun set, symbolizing the start of an incredible final chapter.
Food & Drinks: Dinner, Dessert and Drinks will be provided. (Dietary needs and food allergies will be accommodated.)
Music and Activities: We’ll have a specially curated playlist requested by the seniors to set the perfect mood as the sun sets. We’ll have a volleyball net set up for those who want to play a quick match. We'll also have lawn games like cornhole and frisbee, or card games too.
What to bring: Chair/ blanket to sit on. Layers as it gets chilly at sunset.
How to get there: Seniors are responsible for their own transportation.
This is a casual, relaxed event to create amazing future memories with classmates and hopefully start a new Big Picture School tradition.
